Water Use - Reducing Demand

2.1 Reducing Demand

Maintaining the quality and consistency of water supplies are increasingly difficult.

Energy demands associated with pumping water and waste streams and operating treatment plants account for a significant proportion of site infrastructure costs.

Knowledge of where water is actually being used is key to reducing water demand.
