Low in-use environmental impact

10.2 Low in-use environmental impact

Materials that have low environmental impact are best locally derived or manufactured using low energy operations with good durable and require little maintenance.
Satisfying these parameters needs to be measured against how they are derived, supplied, the environment in which they are expected to operate and the manner in which they could be recycled or re-used.
