1.5 Energy Management

Using the old adage - “If you cannot measure it, you cannot improve it.”
A metering strategy for facilities should be developed to enable effective energy management.
This should include heat meters for district heating systems as well as electricity meters individual buildings.
Meters should allow building operators to monitor where energy is actually being used, including all main energy end-uses and metering by floor-plate.
